My wife and I just purchased a range rover evoque and the service was amazing. I made first contact with Arthur Stanley when the finance was arranged and I was kept informed every step until our car was ready for collection. Upon collection I was explained to in great depth the car history and shown all documentation. Also I had help setting up the Road Tax. The car is immaculate, very clean inside and out, my wife is so happy. Happy Wife, Happy Life, I believe this is the saying is. Great experience today, thank you again to Arthur Stanley. I can't recommend this dealer enough and when I am ready to get my next car I will be certain to see what they have available first.

Amazing service from the guys at Arthur Stanley. Honest, quick response and drive away the same day with my lovely Range Rover. It can be a mixed experience buying a car from commercial dealerships but using Arthur Stanley has been a pleasure. Really helpful team and nothing was too much trouble and great selection of cars. Very pleased I found them and they will be my go to dealership in future.

Yesterday I bought a lovely car from Arthur Stanley in Sheffield
I first saw the car on Auto trader and subsequently made direct contact .
The manor of the first enquiry is critical , and Mark passed the test with flying colours .
Now buying a second hand car is of course somewhat of a lottery , so with that in mind it’s crucial that trust is established quickly.
Everyone in the negotiations has an interest and each party needs to feel that the final outcome is fair to all , seller and purchaser.
Shaun ( and Mark) more than fulfilled this for me.
Their service was not only professional , prompt and attentive, but they went the extra mile to ensure in so far as is possible with a second hand motor , that I was happy with the end result.
Used car sales teams dont generally get good reviews, this company, front faced by Shaun and Mark is the exception to that rule!

I had been looking for a RR Sport for quite a while and had been to view vehicles elsewhere and had been disappointed either with the car, the dealer or both. I came across this car at Arthur Stanley online but am never one to buy without viewing so tied a viewing in with a work trip. On my first visit which was unannounced, the car was not available but had a good chat with Paul about the business and other interests. When I returned the following week I met with Dean and was given complete freedom to look at the car and take it out for a drive on my own. I was entirely happy with it and decided to purchase, returning the following week to collect. The drive home to Portsmouth was always going to be a good test and whilst there were a couple of things that popped up (EMS light that was an oxygen sensor and a brake wear warning) these are things that might be expected on a vehicle with mileage of 125k+ and therefore a sensible discussion over fixing. As can be seen in the photos, one of which was a showroom image but the other is after I collected it, it is immaculate. There are a couple of minor internal wear and tear items but, again, nothing that you wouldn’t expect on a car with this mileage.

As for the poor reviews, it does pay to set expectation right when looking at a car. If you want a new car look then buy a new car.

My experience of dealing with Arthur Stanley Cars was one of ease and professionalism. From start to finish the process could not have been smoother. Recently purchased my first car from Shaun at Arthur Stanley and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Excellent customer service from everyone I dealt with, making the whole process easy and stress free. Everyone was very patient with me and there was no pressure to make any quick decisions. Ive had the car for a while now and it’s a great car to drive with no problems whatsoever. Very happy that I’ve found a trustworthy and reliable service and will definitely be using them again in the future.
